Brooks

In September, I had the chance to work with Brooks, a sweet pup facing some mobility challenges. After just three sessions, he’s now running, jumping, and full of energy. Seeing the videos his family shared made me feel incredibly grateful. Through prayer, intention, and focusing on the imbalances in his body, we were able to help his natural healing process take over. It’s moments like this that remind me how rewarding this work is. I’m so thankful to his family for trusting me to help him.

“Labor Day weekend of 2023 we adopted a seven week old yellow lab puppy from a recommended breeder. We were told that our dog was sound, and would be a good hunter. That is exactly what we were looking for. When we had him about two months we were playing fetch in the house one afternoon. His legs seem to slip out from under him on our hard floor, and he yelped in pain. After a while, he picked himself up and just came over and laid down by us and was done playing. A few days later, he was still kind of limping around so we took him to the vet. They examined him and thought it was just a strain. As fall turned into

winter his back legs seemed to just get worse. He would drag his hind legs by the end of the day, and in the morning barely be able to walk but through mid day he seemed to do best. Through the winter and spring we would take him on walks hoping with more exercise he would get stronger and help those muscles do better, but that was never the case. We tried vitamins, hip and joint supplements and sport dog recovery powers, all of which helped him but never made him a normal active puppy. Eventually we had x rays taken and he was diagnosed with shallow hips.

This summer we met Kelsey and were talking about dogs, and told her about Brooks. She asked if we would let her try to help him, we agreed and are so happy with the results. After three body coding sessions he no longer carries his back leg, runs and plays in the yard and even does a new happy dance! We are so thrilled with the results and the quality of life our young dog can now enjoy! Thanks so much Kelsey!!”
